Decker Machine Works, Inc., provides build-to-order precision manufacturing services for customers in all sectors of industry, but our true expertise lies in producing components for glass- and ceramic-to-metal hermetic sealing applications. Our customers rely on our proven capabilities to manufacture a wide array of parts, including those with high degrees of complexity and tolerances as small as 50-millionths-of-an-inch.
Machines
Decker Machine Works, Inc., works with state-of-the-art CNC machinery and the latest inspection technologies. Our specialty is Swiss-type CNC machining using Citizen turning centers, which we employ to manufacture complex machined parts up to 35MM in diameter. We also utilize CNC lathes with turning capacities up to 100MM in diameter, machining centers with capacities up to 500MM in size, and wire and sinker EDM for cutting complex patterns, and we have in-house centerless grinding capabilities.
Materials
Our highly skilled machinists work across a full spectrum of materials, from polymers to super-alloys, including all high temperature alloys, refractory metals, titanium, ceramics, and graphite.
Decker Machine Works endeavors to be in compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to our industry and we are capable of sourcing DFARS- and RoHS-compliant materials. All of our products are shipped with certified material test reports traceable to the original mill heat.
